Behavioral Finance: How Our Humanness Affects Investment Returns

Panic selling and fear of missing out are opposite sides of the same behavioral bias, the herding bias, which is the most powerful of all in behavioral finance. We saw the first emerge in February and March of 2020, but then moved to euphoria and even bubbles in pockets of the markets three years later.
Cash is king was quickly followed by cash is trash. These biases among many others are addressed in the Covid-19 version of our Behavioral Finance presentation.
