Francesca has built her career around helping others, having learned the value of family and hard work at a young age. Growing up, she spent vacations and weekends working at her family’s second-generation automotive business, where she had the opportunity to observe a financial advisor on the company retirement plan. It was then she realized she wanted to work in finance in order take care of the financial and personal needs of others.
Before forming Twelve Points, Francesca began her career with The Buckley Group in 2008 and eventually left to build her own practice at Morgan Stanley. In 2014, Investment News named her one of the “Top 40 Under 40” advisors in the country. Along with her partners, she co-founded Twelve Points in order to change the reputation of the financial services industry.
Francesca focuses her time on working with Plan Sponsors and their company retirement plans (401k, 403b, etc.). Reviewing hundreds of plans a year, she spends the majority of her day educating plan sponsors on the many challenges and risks of offering and operating benefit plans. She considers herself a resource for her clients for more than just financial advice.
Named one of NAPA’s top women advisors in 2016, Francesca has been featured in CFO and Fortune Magazine and is on the Forbes Finance Council. Francesca co-founded and is the treasurer of Marisa’s Mission on behalf of her 37 year old cousin Marisa, who lost her battle to cancer in 2016. She serves as the Vice President of Tomorrow’s Women TODAY, volunteers on the Corporate Counsels for the Hope Lodge & Community Servings and serves as President of the Boston Chapter for the Fairfield University Alumni Association.
Francesca Federico holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and life and health insurance licenses.
